Where do you produce it?

Wonkyung Food, which established a home in Sangwol-myeon, Nonsan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, uses only 100% of local agricultural products and processes it, boils soybeans in a cast iron cauldron, makes soybeans, dries them, and spreads rice straw in an ocher room to float meju. We are striving to create a mature and honest taste by repeating opening and closing the lid of the jar every day by dipping the soybean paste in a jar on the first day of the month of New Year's Eve.

About the traditional Soybean paste(Doenjang) that was floated in the ocher room?

We use 100% of domestic soybeans to boil soybeans in a cauldron the old-fashioned way, ferment in a red clay room, and carefully select only good agricultural products that are matured in pots, and we are paying attention to the fermentation process of floating soybeans. Rather than making it taste good and familiar to the palate, we carefully select and use only high-quality soybeans that are farmed without any additives so that you can feel the natural savory and deep flavor of traditional food.

Wonkyung Food traditional source goes through fermentation and maturation process, overcoming the spring sunlight in the jar, the hot summer enough to burn if you touch the jar, the autumn colored with pretty maple leaves, and the harsh winter.

The sea salt without the bittern for 3 years boiled in a cast iron cauldron for 5 hours, then spread the soybean paste in a loess room with rice straw. Then we selected only fermented soybeans that are rich in Bacillus subtilis and are free from miscellaneous germs and make them on the first month of the lunar calender. We confidently recommend it to all those in their 20s to 80s who want a healthy meal.
